College Transition

We are committed to helping new graduates with their transition and career development.

We understand the transition from college to the workplace is a change. We recognize that you can’t learn everything in school and learning is a lifelong experience. We believe the workplace should offer a continuation of the learning process.

When you join GeoDesign you will be part of a “young” (founded in 1995), growing firm where you will have the opportunity to grow and be challenged. You will have opportunities to use your engineering education in a team environment and develop the other skills you will need at the same time.

In addition to technical skills that are the emphasis in engineering and science education, oral, written and interpersonal skills will become essential for your career development.

We will provide you with the tools you need to function in an office and field environment including a workspace, computer and a regimen of introduction into the ways of the office and field, as well as training and coaching by senior people (see Training and Development).
